The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for inspecting the rooms at the hotel to have them ready for guests according to the policies and procedures of Granlibakken Tahoe.

• Maintain room quality based on hotel objectives
• Conduct frequent room inspections to ensure established cleaning standards are upheld.
• Assure that inventory of the rooms is up-to-date in accordance with established requirements
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, and bathroom items according to preset standards and procedures.
• Clean assigned guest rooms, according to preset standards and procedures when needed.
• Monitor and maintain a level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, laundry, restrooms, and public areas
• Ensure that all furnishings, hallways, vending areas, and storage rooms are well maintained.
• Compile and report accurate status of guest rooms to front office
• Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment
• Report maintenance problems immediately.
• Coordinate and facilitate any repairs for maintenance deficiencies.
• Ensure department compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Ensure quality services are rendered in meeting guest needs and that guest relations are enhanced
• Ensure satisfactory scores with brand by preparing for audits, evaluating results, and collaborating with management and team with necessary improvements.
• Work with other departments to maintain AAA 3 diamond or higher standards for the property.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 years experience in all aspects of Housekeeping in a large, multi-use facility required
• Comprehensive knowledge of housekeeping procedures, inventories, equipment and chemicals required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays
