******SUMMARY******

This position is responsible for performing a variety of courier and delivery duties utilizing a motor vehicle as necessary to ensure the proper distribution of pharmaceuticals, patient labs, mail, cash deposits, material and supplies.

Receives supplies into the current MMIS/People Soft, distributes/delivers supplies to clinic areas and fills patient requisitions for supplies when presented. The driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of GHS non emergency vehicles.

The Driver Supply Clerk provides courier services to/from The Infectious Disease Clinic.

******QUALIFICATIONS******

* High School diploma or GED is required

* Previous experience transporting supplies to and from locations as instructed

* Current State of Georgia driver's license (with no traffic violation for three years) is required

* Must be certified or eligible for certification as a driver for the Grady Health System
