gpac is Hiring a Sr Civil Design Engineer Near Omaha, NE
A well-established, growing engineering firm in your area is seeking 7 year Civil Engineer to join their team. They have a work hard/play hard mentality, full benefits, and exceptionally challenging projects!
What you will be doing:
- Utilize Civil Engineering design skills, prepare design plans, construction documents, reports, and other project-related documents.
- Residential, municipal and commercial site development.
- The incumbent will play an integral role in successful management and completion of existing projects, as well as leveraging their knowledge and expertise in identifying opportunities for new project work in the greater Lincoln and Eastern Nebraska Region.
- The successful candidate will participate in sales/proposal presentations to clients in both the private and public sector including state, county and municipal agencies.
- Through active project involvement, the Senior Engineer will assist in mentoring, coaching and training staff to ensure continuous development of bench strength within the team.
- This position is viewed as an active engineering role involving planning, design, construction administration, oversight and project management.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7 years of civil engineering experience.
- Licensed PE in Nebraska
- Experience with Land Development design experience
- Strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, ability to problem solve.
- Software experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation and other applicable engineer design tools.
