Metal service centers provide customers with readily available aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals inventory and processing. Bayou Metal Supply & Manufacturing focuses on meeting customer needs of available metals in the marine and related industries. We provide inventory management services, and value-added metals processing, such as: precision router cutting with our three onsite CNC routers, cutting to length, plasma cutting, precision sawing and shearing, and more, before distributing these products to manufacturers and other end-users.
We are currently looking for an ambitious and hard-working individual to fill a project manager position at Bayou Metal Supply & Manufacturing.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a related major
- In lieu of a degree, an equivalent amount of relevant experience required in addition to experience requirements below.
-Experience using SolidWorks or other design programs to unflatten and bend products to create bending and nest files.
-Experience with or willingness to learn operation of Pro-nest or other nesting software.
- Ability to read and draw Auto-cad Files.
- Possess strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
- Master of time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and budgets.
- Analysis and presentations skills related to project progress, budgets, schedules, etc.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review scans, drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
- Plan proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
- Check output for and support quality assurance with needed drawings.
- Create bend, weld, and machine drawings.
- Create sorting list for projects.
- Work with sales team to provide supporting information.
- Work with process leads in product design.
Pay dependent upon experience.
