Job Description

• Meet regularly with the Property Manager in order to obtain work instructions, discuss operational problems and successes, and to ensure that an open line of communication and a close coordination of effort exist.

• Is highly motivated and takes the initiative to solve problems before they occur.
• Ensures that adequate supplies, tools, materials and/or equipment required for daily work assignments are on hand prior to beginning work each day.
• Is safety conscious and observes safety rules and regulations at all times. Reports any safety problems or violations to the Property Manger and takes immediate corrective action.
• Perform all regular maintenance items in according with maintenance checklist .

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

• A minimum of three years of direct, hands on experience working as a maintenance technician or a lead person performing the type of construction work offered by this company.
• Must be trustworthy and dependable and display good moral character
• Additional or specialized knowledge and experience may be required for some projects, such as HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Wall Board Hanging, etc.
• Must have adequate technical abilities to self-perform carpentry, basic maintenance, repair and remodeling assignments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be in good general health. Able to lift 75lb

COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to write, speak, and read well in the English language.
• Must be able to give and receive clear precise instructions.
• Must be capable of developing good interpersonal relationships

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have proven leadership skills and can become an effective leader.
• Must be able to learn job tasks rapidly and to perform a variety of routine repetitive tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

Must be able to operate manual and electric hand controlled tools, equipment and machinery accurately and in a safe manner.

Job Type: Full-time
