About The PositionWe are seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager of Land Development for a full-time remote-flexible position based out of our Apex location. If you are looking for a position that affords you the opportunity to interface with clients, organize and move projects along, and coach developing Engineers while showcasing your knowledge and skills within a laid-back family atmosphere, this is the ideal position for you! Because we are a small Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to grow your experience in all aspects of Civil Engineering and Land Development. You won't find yourself drowning in a sea of cubicles plugging away at the same types of projects on endless repeat here!

Responsibilities
- Designing portions of a project using relevant office software, modeling, and Civil 3D technology.
- Completing calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilizing software in order to solve problems.
- Preparing specifications to local municipality regulations.
- Working to complete design details and plan sets.
- Assisting in the preparation of engineering and construction proposals.
- Mentoring, leading, and developing a small team of Engineers.
- Managing employee timesheets and work orders.
- Six to Ten years of experience in Civil Engineering
- Land Development experience is preferred
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a scientific area and/or equivalent work experience
- Professional registration (P.E., L.S., etc.) in one or more states in which we conduct business is preferred
- Thorough understanding of project accounting and demonstrated ability to manage the schedule and budget for multiple projects at the same time
- Working knowledge of technical and office support software required to perform the essential functions of the position
