Position Responsibilities :

• Utilize hands-on shop and field knowledge to accurately estimate costs for various construction projects
• Read and analyze architectural and structural drawings to determine project requirements and scope
• Proficiently use software tools such as Viewpoint, Tekla, FabTrol, FabSuite Blue Beam, and Excel to generate accurate estimates
• Possess a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting project deadlines
• Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to gather necessary information for estimates

Position Essential Job Functions :

• Conduct material and labor takeoffs to accurately determine quantities and costs
• Research and analyze historical data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve estimation accuracy
• Collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain accurate pricing and lead time information
• Stay updated with industry trends, market rates, and cost fluctuations to ensure accurate pricing

Position Skills :

• Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in estimating construction projects
• Hands-on shop and field knowledge in the Manufacturing · Metals industry
• Proficiency in reading architectural and structural drawings is a must
• Experience using software tools such as Viewpoint, Tekla, FabTrol, FabSuite Blue Beam, and Excel is highly desirable
• Strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience.
