Level I -III Diesel Technician
We are currently hiring for a Diesel Mechanic located in Charleston, SC. Our areas of business include class 8 semi-truck repairs and maintenance.
Requirements:
Physical Demand:
The employee may continuously lift, move, or carry a minimum of 50 pounds, up to 100 pounds. This position may also require the use of hands for frequent simple grasping, fine manipulation, and power grasping. Reaching is frequently required at waist level and below waist level. The employee will frequently need to bend, kneel, balance, or squat. The employee will be performing a variety of physical labor including (but not limited to) climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for long periods of time; lift and carry boxes, tools, equipment, and materials.
Responsibilities:
· Perform PM maintenance, mechanical repairs including, but not limited to: troubleshooting and diagnosing transmissions, differentials, aftertreatment, brakes, clutches, trailers (pony motors, hydraulics, electrical, shims), etc…
· Perform routine vehicle maintenance and trucks and trailers.
· Perform BIT and DOT inspections.
· Work with diesel mechanic team to provide updates and repairs to diesel trucks and engines.
The location:
This position is in Charleston, SC. All applicates must live within 45 minutes of Charleston.

Salary:
Up to $18 - 32 / hr per hour depending on experience.

Schedule:
Monday – Friday
7 AM – 5 PM (10 hours of overtime a week)
10-hour shift
1 hour of paid lunch

Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Diesel engine repair: 2-10 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required)
Class A/B CDL (Preferred)
