Our client, a leading Utilities Provider, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to support the financial management of the organization's programs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that program budgets are established, monitored, and controlled to maximize value creation. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted financial advisor and point of contact for designated business units/areas
• Collaborate with the Program Financials team to develop and maintain financial models that support investment decisions, including assessing ROI and other key financial metrics
• Partner with designated business units/areas to coordinate the annual development of the 5-Year Labor, Operating, and Capital Budgets
• Review and challenge budgetary submissions to ensure alignment with strategic direction and operational requirements
• Mentor and coach junior team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities
• Develop and maintain a culture of financial discipline and continuous learning within the program financials team
• Support the development and maintenance of program financial dashboards to monitor performance against established objectives
• Lead and coordinate the monthly reforecasts (Latest Estimate Process) of the Capital and Operating & Maintenance portfolios, including identifying key drivers for variances between actual and expected performance
• Evaluate staffing requests to ensure they are within authorized capacity and budgeted resources
• Examine and assess Latest Estimate submissions, including the development of mitigation plans to offset unfavorable projections
• Advise customers on potential operational efficiencies that may result in cost savings
• Assist with Business Case developments, capital determinations, write-offs of obsolete inventory, and related financial services activities
• Maintain and recommend changes to ERP master data in support of Operating & Maintenance and Capital reporting
• Assist with providing financial data for benchmarking purposes or other purposes as deemed necessary by operational areas
• Support process improvement initiatives resulting in overall operating and/or reporting efficiencies
• Perform other duties and serve on special project teams as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited university
• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Accounting, or other quantitative field from an accredited university, or extensive institutional knowledge related to the posted position
• At least one of the following certifications: Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Management Accountant, Certified Payroll Professional, Certified Treasury Professional, Chartered Financial Analyst
• Excellent relational, analytical, planning, multi-tasking, negotiating, problem-solving, verbal, written, and communication skills
• Strong financial management, internal controls, and financial analytical foundation
• Organizational agility and proven aptitude to seamlessly navigate through the organization and work with different levels of management, personalities, and ambiguity while producing solid and usable results
• Proven critical thinking and analytical skills in problem diagnosis, resolution options, and successful plan execution
• Commitment, drive, and resolve for producing comprehensive, high-quality work
• Delivery of exceptional customer service
• Strong personal computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• A valid driver's license with a history of a safe driving record
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions such as SAP, PeopleSoft, or Hyperion
• Experience with the electric or gas utility industry gained through experience at a utility, investment bank, consultant, or other professional service provider serving the industry
