Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Social Media & Business Metrics Analyst (Remote) to support our VA Customer. This position will be fully remote.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Provides functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems. They have the business knowledge and perspective of a particular business and the IT needs of that customer. Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flows. May also be functional experts in financial, program control or logistical areas.

• Develop Metrics and Analytics of web usage
• Generate Metrics and Analytics for social media outreach
• Create Metrics and Analytics for other outreach campaigns and events (email, conferences, etc)
• Support business processes approval activities
• Create metric based reports that can be easily digested by business owners 
• Analyzes business processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems
• Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and other business stakeholders to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization
• Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's with 5 years (or commensurate experience)
• Obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Experience creating metrics and analytics for business based products/services
• Experience with diverse IT projects both large and small and be well-versed in full systems development life cycle and strategic information planning, including agile development and DevOps environments
• Experience working with customers and project leads in analyzing, designing, implementing and supporting IT projects
• Act as a trusted advisor in an objective third-party capacity to federal clients, providing consultative services and thought leadership
• Proficiency with modern software tools, including MS Teams, Confluence, Slack, etc.
• Excellent writing, oral communication, and presentation skills
• Highly motivated & ability to take initiative
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Dept. of Veteran Affairs or other federal agency consulting experience
• Experience with Microsoft Clarity
• Familiarity with ServiceNow
• Familiarity with AWS
• Familiarity with MS Azure

Clearance Required:Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust clearance

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
