We are seeking a Lead Staff Full-stack Engineer – Productivity to serve as a technical lead for the Platform Productivity team. This is a hybrid work opportunity located in either New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA.

What You've Done:

• 7 years of professional experience in software development
• 2 years of team leadership/management experience in a hands-on capacity 
• 2 years of in-depth experience with React and relevant toolsets/framework ecosystems
• Understanding of core JavaScript concepts, and practical experience building robust stateful web applications
• Extensive experience in designing large scale web applications across the entire stack using multiple general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, C/C , Javascript) 
• Previous experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact; focus on large-scale consumer-products is preferred 
• Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools 
• Experience working closely with product teams, designers, and other engineers to create impactful and highly-performant web experiences 

• Own the technical design and roadmap for the experimentation platform 
• Leverage your expertise in building and operating high scale systems with a focus on reliability and quality of analyzed data 
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements across StubHub's platforms and products with agility and resulting in high-quality outcomes 
• Help build and mentor a team of software engineers, championing process and culture improvements within the Engineering organization and increasing the team’s technical capabilities

The anticipated gross annual base salary range for this role is $240,000 – $350,000 per year. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which also includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
