Quallifications Include:

1. Must be dependable in work habits.
2. Must have high school diploma or equivalency.
3. Must obtain and maintain current Serve Safe certification.
4. Demonstrates good communication skills with parents and professionalism in a variety of situations.
5. Must have good knowledge of proper methods of preparing and serving food in large quantities and for storing and preserving food.
6. Must have at least one year prior food service experience.
7. Must have good knowledge of sanitary and safety principles and practices applicable to food production and serving.
8. Must have working knowledge of the use and application of cleaning supplies for appliances, equipment and serving areas.
9. Ability to plan and prepare menus.
10. Ability to work under time constraints and meet food production schedules.
11. Must complete and pass a criminal history background check according to applicable laws and school board policies.
12. Must comply with all rules and regulations pertaining to safety.
13. Must be able to speak English (speak, read, write, and comprehend).
