Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is Hiring a LEAD PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE - Bryant Near Bryant, AR

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Serves to assign tasks, monitor production goals, provide training for donation attendant associates.
Meets or exceeds individual production and donor customer service objectives and standards
according to established policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assign tasks, monitor production goals, provide training for donation attendant associates; may
direct community service workers and volunteers on a limited or as needed basis. This duty is
performed daily, about 10% of the time.
2. Receive, sort, process, hang and salvage donated goods according to established standards;
provide donors with an appropriate donation receipt. This duty is performed daily, about 50% of the
time.
3. Adhere to Goodwill safety procedures and policies; report work injuries regardless of severity. This
duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
4. Report possible employee actions that could be violations of policies. This duty is performed daily,
about 10% of the time.
5. Attend and participate in regular employee meetings and training. This duty is performed as needed,
about 5% of the time.
6. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get
along with customers, clients, co-workers and management. This duty is performed daily, about 5% of
the time.
7. Prepare donated goods for transport. This duty is performed as needed, about 5% of the time.
8. Maintain good housekeeping practices to provide a clean and safe work environment. This duty is
performed daily, about 5% of the time.
9. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned
satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability
required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines. Equivalent to four years high
school or GED, with particular emphasis during high school in office skills, shop skills, or others, plus
12 to 18 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, notes, letters and memos;
Ability to write simple correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Ability to perform these mathematical skills using
money and other forms of measurement.
CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS
Ability to use common sense understanding in order to carry out simple multi-step instructions. Ability
to deal with standardized situations with limited variables.
