As a Laundry Aide in Good Shepherd’s Skilled Nursing Facility, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional services to residents. Laundry Aide Responsibilities
- Receive processed linens from contracted service
- Count and deliver linens daily to assigned linen closets
- Sort, wash and dry soiled personal clothing
- Hang and fold personal clothing in preparation for delivery
- Deliver personal clothing to resident rooms
- Label clothing as needed
- Handle infectious laundry using Universal Precautions
- Clean laundry room and sorting/soiled linen tubs
- Maintain chemical levels related to washing machines
