Summary:

The Analyst shall provide direct support to the USCG Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) Engineering Services Division (ESD). Primary responsibilities include the development and ongoing maintenance of the Engineering Change (EC) Tracker for multiple navigation systems and related projects. Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Development and upkeep of the EC Tracker requires extensive research, interface, and collection of project data derived from multiple CG databases, documents, and from project personnel.
• Supports projects through all Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) phases to include shared file organization and maintenance of all SELC project documentation.
• Requires regular meetings with C5ISC-ESD engineering personnel to determine project status, risks, and objectives necessary to create or update the EC Tracker.
• Utilize the EC Tracker to create and present project metrics and summary reports, as required.
• Provide daily monitoring of project progression and maintain communications with project team members to ensure task progress or completion is reflected in near real-time.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products 2016 or later.
• Advanced level knowledge of MS Excel.
• Knowledge and use of MS Teams related to team collaboration and file sharing.
• Shared network file structure and organization.
• Excellent written and/or verbal communication skills with Project Managers and Project Officers with regard to the status of active projects.
• General engineering and/or technical knowledge of electronic navigation or similar systems and sensors is preferred.
• General knowledge of the System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) process and artifact development is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

• SECRET Clearance Required
• 8 years of relevant experience, including USCG SELC support.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A four-year Baccalaureate Degree or completion of USCG or DOD Technical Schools preferred.
• Education and USCG/DOD Training may be substituted as follows: Three-years technical project analysis experience with extensive knowledge of MS Office suite in support DOD/DHS technical and/or engineering projects.
