Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
•Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network; tests and analyzes network facilities, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters and servers
•Installs, supports and/or maintains LANs and/or WANs; evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades
•Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations
•Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission
•Identifies, diagnoses and resolves technical problems related to network failure/integrity and usage of PC hardware and softwareRequires expanded knowledge and experience in own area; incumbents are still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills
•Builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers
•Solves a range of straightforward problems
•Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures
•Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
•Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own area of expertise while developing additional skill sets
•Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work
•No supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance to new associates
•Solves standard problems by analyzing possible solutions using experience, judgment and precedents
•Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies
•Explains information to others in straightforward situations
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
•Secret Clearance
•2 years with BS/BATarget Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
