Givens Estates Health Services Team is hiring a full-time Transportation Aide to schedule and transport Health Center and Assisted Living residents to various appointments in a safe manner and/or make deliveries as needed.

**What youll do:**

* Transport residents to various appointments using facility vehicles and/or make deliveries as needed

* Maintain valid and unencumbered drivers license

* Be able to perform a resident transfer to and from wheelchairs, walker, and vehicle seat safely and appropriately (with use of assistive devices, i.e., gait belt if necessary)

* Refill vehicles with fuel as necessary

* Notify the facility services department if the vehicle(s) need maintenance or repair work

* Maintain transportation log each transport and ensure proper record keeping and billing

* Remain with, advocate for, assist, and supervise residents during appointments as required

* Keep cell phone charged for emergency use in the vehicle(s)

* Schedule and plan transportations to ensure resident needs are met for all Health Center and Assisted Living residents, and assist with Independent Living transports when needed

* Communicate pertinent information regarding residents and relays information in an accurate and timely manner

**What youll need:**

* North Carolina CNA License

* Current CPR/Heimlich maneuver certification

* 3 years of driving experience

* Valid and unencumbered North Carolina drivers license

**Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour based on experience**
