Basic Function (Purpose of Position) :

As a Utility Operator you will provide support to the Basic Ingredients production area by grinding botanicals, packaging finished product, and cleaning work area / equipment.

In this role you will :

Follows established procedures to clean (manually or with equipment) various sized containers, vessels and utensils as well as the production floor and equipment.

Completes all sanitation and housekeeping duties as listed on the master sanitation schedule.

Works in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and internal safety guidelines.

Weighs and packages finished product in neat and accurate manner.

Operating Fork Truck and Hi-Lo.

Collects, empties and disposes of garbage.

Assist in Dispensing or other duties / responsibilities as required.

Your professional profile includes :

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Minimum 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Able to read and write English.

Forklift license is preferred

Must understand computer screens applicable to cleaning and be able to work with automated systems.

Must be safety-oriented, flexible, customer-focused and willing to work overtime as needed.

Clear communication skills, team work skills and attention to detail are essential.

For Dispensing, must have knowledge of metric weight systems / conversions with ability to perform basic mathematical calculations is preferred.
