Easter has come and gone, the Final Four is about to get underway, and finally some warm weather. And right now, we have more opportunities than you have clovers growing on your lawn right now. We have promoted 3 people across our organization recently and it has left a position at our Nissan Sales desk in Lafayette.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work to help the people in Acadiana make good decisions in purchasing vehicles. We aren't looking for someone who can just desk deals; we are looking for someone who can lead a team with purpose, honesty, and integrity. We can teach people how to manage a sales desk however, teaching leadership, core values, and drive doesn’t seem to be something that we can instill. We are looking for experience and an understanding of the Acadiana new car market. The selection process for us is straightforward. WHAT DO YOU DO?

Responsibilities

  • Coach the sales team on proper closing techniques through training and active participation, and lead the profitability of your team.
  • Deliberate daily management of new car inventory levels.
  • Development & oversight of planned marketing strategy. i.e.Pricing strategy, picture quality, 3rd party placement, online presence, customer correspondence, and sales team awareness.
  • Lead and oversee all showroom activities with active involvement with customers and sales staff.
  • Mentor new and experienced sales reps on standard methodologies for improving performance.
  • Ensure proper follow-up of all prospective buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a CRM system.
  • Establish delivery procedures and monitor performance and execution.
  • Guarantee delivery includes an introduction to the service department and the scheduling of the first service appointment.
  • Achieve forecasted goals and objectives for the dealership, gross, and key expenses monthly and annually.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of sales management experience with responsibility for the operation of a successful dealership
  • A solid CSI track record
  • Possess a successful history of building and training a sales team and above-average gross and net departmental profits
  • Experience growing and developing sales staff
  • Strong background in building showroom and internet traffic, SEO and SEM, direct mail, and other traditional media
