Description

Position Summary: 

Candidate would be a member of the CUBRC Aerosciences group involved with support of high-speed wind tunnel testing This entry level position would involve working with engineers and senior designers to create, modify, and detail 3D CAD files of wind tunnel models and tunnel hardware. 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Associate's degree in engineering, drafting, or equivalent experience 
• Strong communication skills
• Works independently and collaboratively
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job which is largely a desk job, but also requires navigating the industrial area to make field inspections and work with the test/manufacturing crews occasionally
• Candidate must be prepared to occasionally work extended hours
• Position is full-time, in-person
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to meet eligibility requirements to obtain a government security clearance 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Siemens NX design experience

Salary Range: 

• Commensurate with experience and education : $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 annually.
