Ideal Candidates: Retired teachers who still want to work and contribute to children learning; but do not want to grade assignments, lesson plans, or take on additional responsibilities. Graduate students who are looking to gain experience and classroom management skills. An opportunity to build relationships with schools and get some invaluable experience. Working professionals looking to transition to more meaningful work that contributes to society and the development of children need to gain some school experience. Key Duties: Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning Assign lessons and follow the classroom lesson plans Maintaining a safe learning environment Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed Minimum Requirements: MN Short Call Substitute Teaching License or higher (If you have a bachelor's degree, Zen can help guide you through the process to get licensed and apply for a Short Call Substitute License.) Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university Preferred Requirements: Tier 3 or 4 MN teaching license Master's Degree Accredited Teacher Preparation Program Additional Requirements: Additional requirements include US Work Authorization. Applicants must have proficiency in English Pay: $180 - $210 per day Teacher pay will reflect qualifications and experience level.
