Accountable for timely completion of paperwork and assignments (i.e.: employee orientation, supports efforts in achieving departmental operating budget targets, employee attendance at mandatory in-services, QI data,) for assigned scope of service. Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained. Report to top management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement.

* Supports organizational development of an integrated organizational PI Plan.

* Supports departmental managers to translate the PI Plan to departmental PI activities.

* Supervises organizational data collection for quality monitoring.

* Systematically aggregates and analyzes collected data collaboratively throughout the organization.

* Trends analyzed data.

* Drives performance improvement activities as indicated by identified trends.

* Identifies an ongoing, proactive program for identifying and reducing unanticipated adverse events and safety risks to patients.

* Facilitates documentation of organizational performance improvement activities.
