Overview

This position will take a lead role in on court instruction, academic mentoring, personal development, andleadership development of student athletes. The position will work in concert with the head coach to oversee theteam's local, domestic, and when applicable international community engagement, service and outreach. Thisposition will help oversee the planning and implementation of the team's in and out of season travel goals, with anemphasis on cultural engagement and learning. This position will assist in the the organization and administrationof the team's youth camp and clinical programs.

Responsibilities

• The position will contribute to the building of a positive women’s basketballteam culture by assisting with teaching and coaching during individual, smallgroup, and full team skill instruction.
• The position will take a lead role in the academic mentoring, personaldevelopment, and leadership development of women’s basketball teammembers.
• The position will take a lead role in organizing and implementing the women’sbasketball team’s community service and outreach program.
• The position will take a lead role in spearheading the organization andadministration of the women’s basketball team's youth camp and clinic programs.
• This position will assist the head coach in the women’s basketball team’s budgetmanagement and fundraising efforts.
• This position will take a lead role in the recruitment and retention of women’sbasketball student-athletes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree
• 2-3 years of experience in working with student-athletes and coaching women’s basketball.
