A Family Dentistry is Hiring a General Dentist Near San Diego, CA

We're seeking an amazing full-time General Dentist for our practice in San Diego, CA!

The Associate Dentist at A Family Dentistry is a key member of the team, working closely with our founders and team members to ensure excellent patient care. This position starts with 2-3 days/week, then additional days will be added in a short time frame. This part-time position will evolve into full-time in a 3-6 months time period.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

  • Create a positive, non-judgmental, and remarkable experience for each patient
  • Assess accurately and efficiently patients’ dental needs, taking into consideration their dental benefits when applicable
  • Create a treatment plan for patients’ dental needs according to the current standard of care and the company’s policies
  • Ensure patients are well educated on their current dental health and recommended dental treatments
  • Inspire patients to follow through with their recommended treatment and commit to continuing care so their dental health improve
  • Meticulously manage documentation and charts on each patient
  • Review patients’ health history & Ensure proper care are delivered
  • Proactively lead and support all other team members to meet the goals of the practice
  • Hold assisting team members accountable to their job responsibilities
  • Coordinate with upper management and the leadership team to ensure the office is profitable and expanding
  • Gather patient testimonials and online reviews
  • Promote the company’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values to patients and potential team members

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD), (Required)
  • California Dental License, (Required)
  • A valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Card, (Required)
  • Diode Laser Certification (Preferred), open to become certified within 30 days, (Required)
  • Minimum 3 years of general dental experience, (Preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Resides within or close to 10-15 miles of office location for reasonable commute
  • Requires ability to occasionally lift to 25lbs
