Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians, ensuring the well-being of patients and maintaining high standards of care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing procedures within the scope of practice for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare needs, conditions, and self-care skills.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Skills:
- Proficient in case management to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Knowledge of pediatric care standards and practices.
- Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to provide effective care.
- Ability to perform venipuncture for blood draws and IV therapy.
- Experience in hospital settings with expertise in airway management.
- Familiarity with infant care, including feeding, diapering, and monitoring development.
- Competence in primary care procedures such as wound care and administering medications.
- Skill in dermal fillers administration for cosmetic procedures.
