Duties * Prepares publications to be presented to multiple audiences such project lead engineers and engineering personnel, upper installation management, program and projects managers, customers, and the USAISEC higher headquarters. * Makes edits to technical publications. * Monitors document preparation performed by mission support contractors. * Provides management direction to the CECOM-USAISEC Contracting Officer Representative or government activities regarding all publications in support of USAISEC and monitors document preparation performed by the support contractor. * Verifies to USAISEC COR that publications meet required technical specifications and are of the quality contemplated by the contract. Requirements Conditions of Employment * Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. * This position requires incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance, or access, for duration of employment. * This position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. * This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time. * The incumbent may be required to work nights and weekends to support the mission.
