Job Summary

Geisinger is currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a full time opportunity at our ConvenientCare urgent care clinic in Selinsgrove, PA.

Job Duties

Geisinger's ConvenientCare program is an alternative to the Emergency Department when prompt intervention is needed to treat worsening illness or exacerbation of a chronic condition. Acute care services above and beyond what is traditionally found in outpatient urgent care centers are available for the convenience of both providers and patients.

Position Details

The successful Physician Assistant candidate will work under the responsibility and supervision of the physician and require completion of an ARC-PA (or predecessor organization) approved physician assistant program, current NCCPA certification or eligibility, and Pennsylvania State licensure.

Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required), Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)

Certification(s) and License(s)

Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
