PureTech Health is seeking a highly motivated and agile Senior Manager/Associate Director, IT Financial Systems. In this highly visible role, you will report to the Vice President, Information Technology, and work closely with a very collaborative cross functional team. This role will work in a fast-paced team environment on financial systems including working with end users on a variety of needs, and special projects. Working closely with management, scientists and vendors, this person should possess good business and technology sense and have a solid understanding of technology related to the biopharmaceutical business.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand IT requirements and priorities for financial applications.

* Provide system assistance for day-to-day Finance activities.

* Provide Oracle software functionality support and training to financial staff.

* Support end users in month-end close and audit procedures and troubleshooting.

* Validate the requirements and deliverables for financial applications, including how all upstream and peripheral systems ultimately impact the products.

* Perform system security manager duties including maintaining user roles and profiles, security settings and access settings.

* Performance of IT SOX controls and preparation of all related documentation and evidence of such IT controls.

* Represent the Company for the audit of IT controls and IT related controls.

* Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, custom workflow, and approval processes.

* Research changes in upcoming system versions and provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity.

* Educate users with proactive practices to enrich and increase their knowledge of the applications.

* Develop and oversee IT policies and standard operating procedures as related to the financial systems.

* Oversee vendor relationships.

* Ensure clear communications with cross-functional team leaders, executive management, and third-party providers.

Experience/Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, information systems or related field.

* 6 years of relevant Oracle Cloud Fusion experience including technical support, configuration, and vendor management.

* Biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

* Experience with Office 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, etc), Oracle Fusion Cloud, and Concur.

* Experience working with auditors on IT SOX controls.

* Proven talent to work with cross functional departments to select, vet, negotiate, implement, support and evolve systems across the drug discovery and development continuum.

* Extensive experience working cross-functionally, building collaborative working relationships at all levels.

* Strong people and vendor management, influencing, project management, negotiation, and planning and execution skills.

* Superb verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

* Proven ability to manage complexity and change with agility and ease.

* Ability to work in-person on a hybrid schedule.
