Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your primary responsibility will be to create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters the overall development of each child
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the unique needs of each child
- Promote positive behavior management techniques to encourage self-discipline and cooperation
- Incorporate literacy education into daily activities to enhance language development
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote physical education and gross motor skills
- Foster social skills through group activities, play, and interactive learning experiences
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones
Experience:
-12 ECE units preferred
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or early childhood education setting
- Familiarity with Montessori or other progressive teaching methods is a plus
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for young children
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
