Job Purpose : Serves customers by helping them select products.

Duties:

• Welcome customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
• Direct customers by escorting them to racks and counters; suggesting items.
• Advise customers by providing information on products.
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
• Process payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, store credit or other credit cards.
• Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
• Keep merchandise fully stocked and tidy
