We are seeking detail-oriented and experienced Operational Risk Analysts to join our Corporate Product Assurance Team. These roles involve assessing risks associated with P&C operations, validating compliance with state regulations, and contributing to process improvements and practices. The Operational Risk Analysts will actively participate in assurance processes, perform testing/validation reviews, and provide recommendations for compliance enhancements.

What does an Operational Risk Analyst do?

  • Execute mock Market Conduct Exams to ensure preparedness for regulatory requests.
  • Test and document the effectiveness of underwriting, claims, and policy administration procedures.
  • Perform remediation testing to validate corrective measures.
  • Collaborate on planning, scoping, executing, and reporting validation reviews.
  • Build strong relationships with internal peers and business stakeholders.
  • Influence adherence to established processes and procedures.
  • Adapt quickly to change and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

What is required?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Certifications:

  • A P&C Designation of CPCU, ARM, AIS or AIM are a plus.

Experience:

  • Five or more years of experience in operational risk, assurance, or compliance within the personal auto or P&C insurance industry.

Other skills and abilities:

  • Experience with market conduct exam practices is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of the personal auto insurance industry, including products, underwriting, claims practices, and policy administration operations.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a complex work environment, focusing on high-value activities.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (verbal and written).
  • Implementation of best practices for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products and processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and independent judgment.
  • Ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations, demonstrating creativity in problem resolution.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and willingness to adapt to new approaches and innovations.
  • Familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Adobe.

  • Hybrid - 2 days in office (Dallas/Richardson)
