Linux System Engineer

Direct hire, must live in St. Louis, MO or surrounding area to be able to work onsite 3 days a month and the rest remotely.

No C2C, no Third parties, must be a US Citizen.

• Most important skillset is IPA/IDM and RedHat Satellite experience.
• 5 years of Linux Operating Systems: RHEL 8, OEL 8, and CentOS 7
• Responsible for maintaining a Linux Server hosting critical business applications.
• Must be able to diagnose and address when the applications are running slow, and when disk space affects performance.
• Experienced knowledge in Linux/Unix operating systems and command line
• Fundamental knowledge of SAN and NAS storage devices.
• Knowledge of or experience with scripting and automation tools
• Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP networks and troubleshooting tools
