Job Summary: The Construction Administrative Assistant is responsible for bookkeeping, receivables and payables, preparation of construction draws/payment applications, preparing requests for proposals (RFPs), creating contracts, entering data into Construction Project Management system - ProCore, and managing required documentation for D & G Building Company. This position also entails a variety of administrative support services and coordination including document management, communication, office administration, calendar management, reporting and scheduling. The ideal candidate for this position should have:
Minimum of 5 years' experience as an administrative support or similar role in the construction industry.
Associate Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field required, Bachelor's Degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software (ProCore, Timberlake or SAGE).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of construction terminology and processes is a plus.
