Responsibilities:
- Backend Development:
- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend systems using Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement robust and efficient APIs
- Architecture and Design:
- Architect, design, and implement backend services and solutions that meet the business requirements
- Provide technical leadership in selecting appropriate technologies and tools for backend development
- Code Quality and Optimization:
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration
- Identify and implement optimizations for performance and scalability
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Communicate effectively within the team, sharing insights, and participating in technical discussions
- Troubleshooting and Debugging:
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in the backend systems
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of production issues in a timely manner
- Mentorship and Leadership:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Backend Engineer with expertise in Python development
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable and maintainable systems
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
