5 Years minimum experience in mechanical/utility design including HVACR, liquid handling systems (tanks, pumps, piping), heat transfer systems, steam systems, chill water systems, natural gas systems, and industrial waste systems.
Skills: Process flow development, P&ID development, equipment sizing, Equipment submittal review, Construction document review and markup.
MUST HAVE: construction, starting up mechanical equipment and commissioning experience
Food & Beverage, CPG or industrial manufacturing capex project experience
This position is 100% based out of Jefferson, WI (no exceptions for WFH)
Local candidates will be considered and reviewed first
Relocation candidates at own expense. No per diem, home trips or any other allowances for this role
Overtime is expected (but not guaranteed) including some evenings as needed working with 2nd shift
Worker might be asked to cover 2nd shift as well from time to time as needed
Some travel might be required to St. Louis for onboarding and meetings
Must be able to climb ladders and stairs. Requires daily walking through a construction site
EducationBASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer, highly recommended
Experience (Years/Type)
5 Years minimum experience in mechanical/utility design including HVACR, liquid handling systems (tanks, pumps, piping), heat transfer systems, steam systems, chill water systems, natural gas systems, and industrial waste systems.
Food & Beverage, CPG or industrial manufacturing capex project experience (MUST HAVE: construction, startup and commissioning experience).
Experience with generating, reviewing, and field tracing P&IDs.
Field experience reviewing construction progress, starting up mechanical equipment, commissioning systems and coordinating field work with teammates
Experience working in a multi-discipline team to deliver industrial capital projects
Experience with projects requiring hygienic food and industrial manufacturing is preferred.
Experience reviewing 2D drawings and 3D Models.
