We are looking for an experienced North America Operations Director to join and lead the US Operations Team. The Operations Director is responsible for ensuring that services are being seamlessly delivered to UVeye customers. You are in charge of a variety of tasks, such as the installation of new systems, logistics, purchasing and warehousing. Leading project teams, rectifying quality issues, monitoring progress, tracking KPIs, and managing budgets while ensuring a safe working environment for UVeye employees and securing UVeye assets.
A day in the life and how you'll make an impact:
  • Lead a safe and with high quality operations in North America while meeting customers required delivery dates
  • Manage a team of ~20 UVeye employees and dozens of 3rd party installation teams
  • Lead and manage the installation and deployment of new systems at customers' sites.
  • Ensure high quality installation. In case of quality issues, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective as well as preventing action plan.
  • Leading the installation team, managing conflict, and ensuring the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently.
  • Building procedures and infrastructure to support scale up
  • Budget management of all North America Operations activity
  • Taking ownership of critical incidents, coordinating with resolution parties, and establishing effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews
  • Building partnerships and liaising with team leaders to determine the company's services, delivery criteria, and possible solutions for issues.
  • Be the main focal point of the US Operations team with HQ in Israel
  • Building procedures with the sales & account teams to ensure seamless commission and handoff performance epoxy installation.
  • Lead all logistics operations in North America including shipping and warehousing.
  • Lead all purchasing activities including supply chain, invoicing and materials racing processes.
  • Lead inventory management of up to $10M of inventory including finish goods and spare parts.
Requirements:
  • 10 years of experience in a leadership role managing Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Support.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar - technical background
  • Capable of gaining alignment across multiple internal and external partners, building collaborative relationships and focusing on customer needs. This includes, but not limited to, hands-on and consultative approach with an ability to motivate teams towards common goals.
  • Progressive career growth and experience leading technical teams, including both on-site and remote across the US.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills interacting at different levels within the organization including senior leadership with a great sense of urgency and ability to inspire others.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building frameworks and plans to provide necessary structure.
  • Broad foundational understanding, experience and expertise managing complex operational and business challenges through short and long-term planning; experience developing and deploying an innovative strategic plan to build and enhance capabilities and performance. Defines and communicates this vision in persuasive terms, clearly identifying tactical plans to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to travel with the team up to 35% of the time

Ideally, we're looking for:
  • Training and certifications in lean six sigma and/or project management.
  • Experience working in startup companies
  • Experience working with Monday / Salesforce / Priority
  • Experience in the automotive industry
