Summary of Position:

In this role, you will be designing, developing, and deploying web solutions ranging from interactive and responsive web pages to highly customized workflows. You will be creating and managing interfaces to integrate with third-party vendors and business partners. Core technology stacks include SQL, Node, JQuery, AngularJS, Vue, Bootstrap, and others. You must be ready to learn genetics, bioinformatics, workflow, and system design.

We are the backbone of the company and work closely with other teams: Lab, Genetic Scientists, Research, Client Services, Marketing, Sales, and Management.

You will be evaluating processes, building solutions, developing algorithms, coordinating projects, and managing genetic data. You are expected to show eagerness to learn about bioinformatics, genetics, and medical science to aid the diagnostic quest to improve the lives of patients around the world.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

· Minimum BA/BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics (please note that we will not consider candidates who have only completed a bootcamp)

· Experience with User Experience (UX) Design

· Exceptional understanding of data analysis, computer architecture, computer science, and mathematical concepts

· Exceptional technical ability with node.js, jQuery, Javascript, CSS, HTML5, SQL, PL/SQL, and User Interface design

· Eagerness to learn new skills in genetics, bioinformatics, and system design

· Experience with GIT Source Control, Windows, and Linux

· Experience manipulating data in JSON, XML, CSV, XLSX, and TXT formats

· Team player with strong creative thinking and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

· Deep understanding of Networks, Security, Computation, and Algorithms

· Understanding of Bioinformatics, Genetics, and Biology

· Experience with Oracle, Sqlite, and others (MySql, PostgreSQL, NoSQL)

· Experience with C/C /Mobile

· Experience with Python, Bash, Regular Expression
