Description
The Shipping Order Completion Assistant will pick, pack, and load customer orders.
The ideal candidate should have one year experience.
Responsibilities and Working Conditions:

• Pick/Pack/Load in busy production area.
• Transfer finished products and boxes from Shipping sorter to truck
• Assigning employees to different belts/trucks within department to facilitate loading of the trucks
• Scan labels on packages, load packaging machines with boats, and label packages with printed labels
• Spot check packages emerging from machinery for correct labeling
• Operates any equipment needed to perform job
• Apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to the nuances of everyday operation
• Assist in shut down procedures
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• In a workday: standing/walking 6-10 hours or more
• Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals, loud noises, flashing lights
• Constant exposure to temperatures: <-10 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators)
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
• Ability to work in other areas of the business as needed

Education and Qualifications:

• Must be able to work a shift of 8 - 12 hours a day
• Must be able to work both Saturday and Sunday
• Must be flexible to work an overnight/early morning shift
• Must be able to stand for majority of your shift
• Must be able to perform twisting, turning and bending
• Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) lbs.
• Must wear non-slip resistant shoes
• Ability to apply knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products to the nuances of everyday operation
• Ability to clearly communicate in English. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Must embody and demonstrate company values and culture

Note: The hourly range for this role is $16.00. Specific compensation for the role may vary based on many factors including but not limited to candidate experience, and skills.
