Job Description: Data Entry Clerk
Responsibilities:
The role of the Data Entry Clerk is to ensure accurate recording of data related to warehouse operations within our systems.
- Input daily order details, shipping information, and item specifics into the database.
- Maintain and verify records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight schedules.
- Close out warehouse invoices on a daily basis.
- Verify and match shipping documentation with system-generated invoices.
- Ensure adherence to company billing policies regarding freight charges.
- Process daily invoice postings and report totals to management.
- Transmit final invoices to customers and manage document storage using scanning equipment.
- Post warehouse invoices to corresponding purchase orders.
- Match vendor invoices with received purchase order documents.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies using PO Receipts Register.
- Review and categorize non-inventory charges such as freight and fees.
- Timely posting of completed invoices to capture vendor payment discounts.
- Investigate unvoiced receipts utilizing available reports.
- Perform filing and organization tasks for records.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with NCR is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to suggest and implement process improvements.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is a bonus.
