Clear Blue Energy Corp.

We are a privately C-10 Electrical Contractor that has operated in Southern California for over 10 years specializing in commercial lighting retrofits and solar installations. We are looking for individuals to join our community of seasoned tradesman and continue our reputation for the highest quality and best service. The schedule for the position will be primarily 1st Shift while earning a Project Location based prevailing wage rate.

Basic Functions

Experienced solar technician will function as a member of a photovoltaic installation team. It will be his/her responsibility to coordinate with the project manager, crew leader and other members to ensure safe, timely, and superior solar installations. Experience in solar electrical work is a must.

Responsibilities

• Install Solar Panels: Execute efficient and high-quality installations of solar panel systems, including the mounting of panels, electrical wiring, and connecting components.
• Troubleshoot and repair existing, installed photovoltaic systems. Install, troubleshoot, and repair monitoring systems as needed.
• Pre and post construction reporting and documentation for immediate management.
• Worksite Preparation: Prepare the worksite by reviewing installation plans, assessing safety requirements, and ensuring all necessary equipment and tools are available.
• Quality Assurance: Follow industry best practices and company guidelines to ensure all installations meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean and hazard-free worksite.

Skills, Abilities and Qualifications

• Must be knowledgeable of applicable solar and electrical codes, standards, rules, and regulations.
• Must be able to install or replace racking systems, solar modules, inverters, monitoring systems, disconnects, conduit, and wires.
• Ability to bend conduit.
• Be able to properly test and commission photovoltaic systems.
• Must be able walk or stand for long periods of time and willing to climb ladders, stairs, and work on rooftops.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exercises a high level of professionalism and a positive demeanor.
• Thrive in a team environment.
• Must be a team player, who can communicate effectively, listen and learn from coworkers, and be self-motivated.
