Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and guide the QA team in all aspects of software quality assurance.
  • Design and implement testing strategies, ensuring adherence to industry best practices for QA processes and principles.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
  • Provide feedback to enhance the Agile software development lifecycle.
  • Manage end-to-end testing activities, including test case reviews and requirement analysis.
  • Utilize QA tools (Postman) and frameworks (Smartbear) for test automation and execution.
  • Monitor QA activities, analyze test results, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Document and enforce testing processes in line with industry standards.
  • Present testing metrics and activities to stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development environments.
  • Manage QA team members, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Provide final authorization for software releases
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Software QA Manager with expertise in QA principles, standards, and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with 3 years of supervisory experience and 7 years in a Software QA Role.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience with Agile/SDLC procedures and methods, and verifiable expertise in test automation.
  • Programming skills in languages like Python, C#, or Java are a plus.
  • Familiarity with QA tools and frameworks, build/deploy tools, and RDBMS.
  • Understanding of web technologies and mobile test automation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships across multi-disciplinary teams to release complex applications.
