Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the QA team in all aspects of software quality assurance.
- Design and implement testing strategies, ensuring adherence to industry best practices for QA processes and principles.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Provide feedback to enhance the Agile software development lifecycle.
- Manage end-to-end testing activities, including test case reviews and requirement analysis.
- Utilize QA tools (Postman) and frameworks (Smartbear) for test automation and execution.
- Monitor QA activities, analyze test results, and identify areas for improvement.
- Document and enforce testing processes in line with industry standards.
- Present testing metrics and activities to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development environments.
- Manage QA team members, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Provide final authorization for software releases
- Proven experience as a Software QA Manager with expertise in QA principles, standards, and methodologies.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with 3 years of supervisory experience and 7 years in a Software QA Role.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience with Agile/SDLC procedures and methods, and verifiable expertise in test automation.
- Programming skills in languages like Python, C#, or Java are a plus.
- Familiarity with QA tools and frameworks, build/deploy tools, and RDBMS.
- Understanding of web technologies and mobile test automation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to cultivate relationships across multi-disciplinary teams to release complex applications.
