The position requires traveling to satellite offices; therefore, dependable transportation is needed. 


In this role you will:

Be responsible for applying paints, stains, and other surface treatments to structural surfaces and property (patching & painting) to all of our locations within Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties. This position will require the candidate to work a flexible work schedule as most painting projects must be preformed after hours. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains building/facility by cleaning surfaces mixing and applying paint and other finishers; Prepares interior and exterior surfaces
  • Responsible for inspecting areas that need paint and advising manager
  • Properly matches colors and mixes paint
  • Prepares surfaces by washing, scraping, sanding, torching and/or smoothing prior to applying finishing materials.
  • Properly stores, cleans and disposes of all supplies and equipment used per departmental policies and procedures
  • Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work
  • Completes daily work orders as scheduled
  • Assist in operation and general maintenance of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, machine servicing & cleaning/housekeeping to the organization's facilities.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekend shifts as needed
  • Assure compliance with all company plans, policies and procedures set forth by the Florida Orthopaedic Institute.
  • Performs essential repairs and other duties as requested

About You:

  • High School diploma 
  • Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license 
  • Requires 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel
