FleetPride, the nation's leading distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts and service, is seeking a seasoned and strategic a Senior Manager, Fleet Strategy to lead and optimize our extensive fleet operations. In this critical role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle management of our roughly 2,000 vehicles, ensuring peak performance, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fleet management strategy that aligns with FleetPride's overall business goals.
• Oversee vehicle acquisition, including budgeting, sourcing, and negotiation of purchasing or leasing agreements.
• Manage vehicle assignments, utilization, and disposal, ensuring optimal allocation and replacement cycles.
• Ensure compliance of fleet including registration and license of all fleet vehicles relevant with all state laws and regulations.
• Implement and enforce preventive maintenance programs to maximize vehicle lifespan and minimize downtime.
• Negotiate and manage service contracts with repair shops and fuel vendors, securing the best terms and pricing.
• Develop and maintain a robust fleet management system, leveraging data analytics to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee driver safety programs, ensuring compliance with all regulations and promoting safe driving practices.
• Manage a team of fleet personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fleet management, implementing innovative solutions to improve overall operations.
• Prepare and manage the fleet budget, ensuring responsible spending and cost control.
• Act as the primary liaison between the company and outsourced fleet providers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in fleet management, with a proven track record of success in a large and complex fleet environment.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of fleet lifecycle management, including acquisition, maintenance, utilization, and disposal.
• Experience in developing and implementing fleet management strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Experience in negotiating and managing service contracts with vendors.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license.

This role has a 25% travel requirement.

This is a hybrid role: 3 days in office, and 2 days work from home.
