At FirstLight Home Care Emerald Coast, our caregivers aide our clients in their homes by making sure that they have the best quality of life we can help them achieve while maintaining their independence.

We are looking for caregivers to help service clients in the Pensacola, FL and surrounding areas.

Our Caregivers Responsibilities include the following:

  • Help clients with their day-to-day activities and needs within their home
  • Provide general attention to the non-medical needs of the client
  • Assist client(s) with walking, including the use of walkers and wheelchairs as needed.
  • Prepare meals as needed
  • Assist with reminding client to take medication (reminders only)
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as doing laundry, changing linens, cleaning floors and common areas, maintaining clients bedroom, etc.
  • Provide minimal transportation services as needed to include grocery shopping and transportation to appointments.
  • Provide assistance with bathing as needed
  • Provide companionship to the client, including conversation and engaging in various activities.

Requirements for this position:

  • Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and Automobile Insurance
  • Willing to undergo drug screening
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Valid Level 2 Background Check

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The work environment is generally indoors in a client's home.
