We are looking for a detail-oriented self-starter to join our Loan Operations team! Do you have experience with loan documentation and want to grow with a one-of-a-kind community bank? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

As a Loan Documentation Specialist, you will process loan documents and perform complex ancillary documentation duties. You will also review prepared loan files for imaging and perform scanning functions using imaging software.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviews incoming loan requests and prepares necessary documentation
  • Prepares consumer, real estate and complex commercial loan documents following underwriting guidelines and policies
  • Enters loan information into Laser Pro loan software program
  • Orders necessary information for documentation such as flood certifications, UCC filings, corporate searches, etc.
  • Processes UCC filings and monitors expiring liens; makes changes to filings and prepares renewals, as necessary
  • Works with all branch and department loan personnel in meeting their loan documentation needs
  • Assists in reviewing loan documents for accuracy and conformity to bank policy
  • Assists with training new employees as Loan Documentation Processors
  • Assists with preparing various loan files for imaging
  • Accurately scans loan documents using imaging software
  • Reviews document types and loan files assembled for imaging; Performs quality control functions
  • Answers more complex documentation questions
  • Comply with all applicable Banking compliance rules and regulations established by both internal departments and external agencies

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or
  • A minimum of five years of related experience and/or training; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Laser Pro loan documentation software may be a plus

Pay Range (Hourly): $18.00-$22.00
