Axiotech is a Texas Based Low Voltage Construction and IT Service Company with over 17 Years in the Industry. We are currently seeking Qualified, Licensed Fire Alarm and Security System Technicians to help run existing and upcoming low voltage construction jobs in Texas

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Help maintain, inspect and troubleshoot issues on existing customers fire alarm and security systems as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe and productive work environment for all construction and service jobs.
• Will be leading the work of others, including subs, to complete projects and service calls.
• Maintain good relationship with Project Managers and Property Managers.
• Liaison with vendors, subs and main office in scheduling and ordering materials needed for project completion.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Fire Alarm Applicants should have, at the minimum, a Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) or NICET Lvl 1 or equivalent certification (or higher).
• Must have Class B Security License
• 2 Years of Fire Alarm System Installation, Servicing and Programming Experience.
• 2 Years of experience in the Low Voltage field.
• Be able to read and understand blueprints.
• Be willing to take direction and complete necessary documentation for all jobs or company related requirements..
• Be able to work alone to finish projects as needed.
• Be able to work with other employee's and subs to maintain a good working relationship in order to efficiently schedule needed work.
• Be able to establish a good relationship with new and existing customers and maintain good communication.
• Be proficient in hand tools as well as all other trade specific tools and equipment.
• Be organized, reliable and self-motivated.

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Experience:

• Fire Alarm Installation, Service & Programming: 2 years (Required)
• Security and Access Control: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• FAL or Equivalent Fire Alarm NICET License (Required)
• Class B License (Required)
