Basic EKG/Dysrhythmia Exam Required pre-travel for the following units: D9, D8, D7, D6/ICU, D5, P4, Float, Ph 6/7 (on HSH)
Advanced EKG/Dysrhythmia Exam Required pre-travel for the following units: ICU, ED, Ped’s ED, PACU, IR, Cath Lab, Endo (on HSH)
Medication/Pharmacology Exam Required pre-travel for all the above units/specialties (All M/S Tele, PCU, Step-down, ICU, ER Peds ER, IR, Cath Lab, Endo) (on HSH)
There are Healthstream modules that must be completed by the Friday of the week that they start
NSMC does NOT offer virtual orientation, as such, no traveler is allowed on site without a negative COVID test, resulting within the 72 hours, prior to their start date! RN can get PCR test done 72 hours prior to traveling to MA
PPE is available

65 Bed Emergency Department, pod based with separate pediatric pod, and separate behavioral health acute care area
Clinician to Patient Ratio: 1:4
Epic experience preferred
Bed Count: 65 beds
Census: 230 visits/day
Floating Required: Travelers are required to float to applicable units when needed
Patient Population: All
General ED nursing skills including but not limited to, assessment, documentation, critical thinking, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, Cardiac Monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, patient education
