Famous Supply is Hiring an Assembly/Material Handler Near Akron, OH
Cabinet Assembly/ Material Handlers, at our Craft33 facility located in Chapel Hill, are responsible for construction of cabinets, along with the packaging of product to be shipped to our customers.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Inserts screws or dowels in predrilled holes, and fastens parts together with screwdriver, glue and clamps
- Installs hardware, such as hinges, catches, and knobs, on assembled cabinets
- Wraps and secures finished cabinetry
- Box cabinets on a conveyer belt
- Identify product for accuracy. For example: Color, Hardware, Size/Type of cabinet)
- Band cabinet
- Consolidate like product on skids
- Move cabinet to physical location
- Bin transfer cabinet in NetSuite
- Maintains safe and clean working environment
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand on feet for majority of an 8 hour day
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Workmanship skills
- Attention to detail
- Thoroughness
- Good time management
- Experience in assembling products - preferably cabinets
- Forklift experience
- Building industry experience and requisite product knowledge
- Experience working in a warehouse
- Experience using RF Scanners
