Description
Annual Salary: $64,000.00 to $84,000 Depending on License and Experience
Centurion Forensic Health Services (FHS) is currently seeking a full-time Family Treatment Court Clinician (LICSW LCSW LMHC) to join the forensic services team in the Lawrence Juvenile Court located in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
The Family Treatment Court Clinician will not only serve as the primary clinical liaison for the Family Treatment Court session, but also be responsible for:

• Conducting mental health and substance use evaluations of participants;
• Developing individualized plans to access treatment;
• Providing on-going assessments for family members identified in need of treatment;
• Attending bi-weekly staffing meetings;
• Informing the PATHS team on clinical perspectives; and collaborating with EOHHS and community-based agencies to coordinate care;
• Motivational interviewing and client centered treatment planning;
• Outreach and referrals to treatment programs;
• Case management and regular contact with participants using evidence-based approaches to support parent's recovery and family reunification;
• Work collaboratively with community providers to obtain weekly reports of participant's status;
• Provide weekly testimony to the court on participant's status

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required;
• Active mental health professional license in the state of Massachusetts: LICSW, LCSW or LMHC; other licensures may be considered;
• Minimum of two years' experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred;
• Bilingual candidates with ability to speak English and Spanish preferred;
• Experience working with the Latinx community;
• Experience working with patients in substance use recovery;
• Knowledge of substance misuse and its impact on parenting capacity;
• Understanding the child-serving systems, and the ability to make recommendations for treatment for individuals served by the treatment team;
• Training in the area of evidence-based trauma treatment;
• Experience and/or knowledge of the functions of the Department of Child and Family Services;
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00am to 4:30pm
