Family Health Care seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our school-based clinic at Evart Public Schools. This clinic will be open to the public, including adult patients. 

Job Responsibilities

Provide outpatient services to school-age children as outlined by the MDHHS Child and Adolescent Health Center Program. Services include, but are not limited to, primary care, preventative care, comprehensive health assessment, treatment of acute illness, co-management of chronic illness, immunizations, prescribing and reviewing medications, sports physicals, and health education.

As part of federal funding through the Health Resources Services Administration, this clinic will also be open to the public, including adult patients. The APP must be board-certified in family medicine and able to see patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Previous APP experience is preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school for Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• State of Michigan Medical License
• State of Michigan Controlled Substance License
• Federal DEA License
